My DIY TV lift cabinet includes a fully electric mechanism and it's perfect for the end of the bed as a footboard, or up against a wall. Unfortunately, these are not available from Ikea so the cheapest way to get a TV cabinet with a lift in your bedroom is to build one yourself - DIY style with your own plans.
