Directions
- Take a large mixing bowl and add the flour, sourdough starter, salt and lukewarm water.
- Briefly mix everything together then cover with a glass saucepan lid for 30 minutes.
- Briefly mix again and leave covered for a further 30 minutes. Repeat this process 4 times in total.
- After the 4th time, leave the dough covered overnight for at least 12 hours.
- Once risen, pre-heat the oven to 220c / 430f and add a ramekin of water in the bottom of the oven.
- Meanwhile, line a bread tin with greaseproof or parchment paper.
- Pour the dough into the tin then bake in the oven for 45 minutes until risen and golden.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and leave to cool. Slice and enjoy.
