Yorkshire Pudding Recipe

You can't beat homemade Yorkshire Puddings. What's great is this recipe is really easy to make and a real crowd pleaser. A good Yorkshire Pudding recipe is a simple case of making a good batter mix and cooking it right. Follow this recipe for the perfect Yorkshire Pudding.

  Serves: 8 | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes. 98 Calories & 7.5g fat per serving.

Directions

  1. Pour sunflower oil into 8 cups of a muffin tray and place in the oven on 220c/450c.
  2. Add the flour, egg and a dash of the milk into a mixing bowl - briefly whisk.
  3. Gradually add the remaining milk whilst continuing to whisk (this way, you'll avoid a lumpy batter).
  4. When the oil is piping hot, pour the batter mixture into each tin (do not fill each tin more than 2/3 full).
  5. Place back in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes, or until golden.

TIP! - This Yorkshire Pudding recipe serves 12. Freeze any leftover ones then when needed, reheat them in the oven for 5 minutes on a baking tray.
